Providing Help With Daily Living:

KWA HomeCare is committed to providing quality care and compassionate support in the comfort of your own home. We tailor our services to meet your specific needs and offer a broad selection of services and scheduling options.

•Personal hygiene
•Medication reminders
•Meal preparation

Our caregivers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays to provide these non-medical home care services. Scheduling can be arranged from as little as one hour to 24 hours a day. We also provide respite care in which our home care services are available to individuals who are usually cared for by family caregivers offering the family caregiver temporary relief.

Amazing Caregivers. Amazing Quality Care.

We offer our caregivers compensation, ongoing training and quality supervision to attract and retain these very special people. Our caregivers are highly trained according to state regulations, pass criminal background checks and reference screening, take a two-week class when hired as well as 10 hours of continuing education each year, and are fully insured and bonded. Those who provide medication also obtain a Nursing Registration Certificate.

Clients and caregivers also receive support from our supervisors who provide another point of contact for the client and their families with telephone check-ins, onsite evaluations and ongoing monitoring of the caregiver and home visits to assure the client’s needs – as well as the caregiver’s — are being met. Our clients’ family members can feel confident in knowing their loved one’s needs are well taken care of.

What People Are Saying

Gentle, loving, caring, patient, kind, helpful, understanding, trustworthy, dependable. These are words our clients often use in describing their caregivers. Day in and day out, our caregivers treat every client with respect and take great pride in what they do. Our client satisfaction surveys reflect those positive qualities. One client said “I couldn’t ask for a better caregiver.” And another said, “My caregiver always arrives with a smile and happy attitude and is willing to do anything that needs to be done.”

Many clients commend our caregivers for their hard work and dependability. “I never had a better or harder worker – ever! She’s always on time and helps me so much.” Another adds, “She goes way beyond what she has to in every way. You can trust her as she is very honest.”

When Self-Care At Home Becomes Too Difficult

Or family members are not immediately available to do the volume of work that is necessary, many people choose Home Based services over Institutional Care. Doing so often relieves family members of basic caregiving functions and makes it possible to spend quality time, rather than the functional caregiving time. Aside from being easier and faster to implement than moving to an Institutional Care setting, home care allows the patient to stay at home in familiar and comfortable surroundings. The time that adult children do have can be spent on quality time… visiting, having fun with the parent, instead of just being a caregiver.

It’s at home where their quality of life is enhanced without the stress of interrupted routines and changes in daily habits. Companionship is as important as health care when it enables seniors to remain independent and in their homes.kwa homecareimages

Matches Made In Heaven

Home Care, Caregiver We know not every match is made in heaven. There are personal and cultural differences, individual needs, preferences and interests. We take great care in how we match our clients to our caregivers and our matchmaking track record is excellent. We are culturally sensitive and can even provide ethnically tailored meals. At KWA, clients feel confident that they are a good and compatible match with the best caregiver possible. KWA Home Care supervisors carefully select the caregiver with the experience and personality that is best suited to the needs of each client. Next, we arrange for the caregiver to come to the home so the client can interview the caregiver and determine if he or she is an appropriate match for their needs.
